When Alex and his cousin Sarah are visiting their grandparents, Alex gets terrible red, itchy hives. Yikes! He’s allergic to a ghost! Even worse, the ghost won’t leave him alone – he wants Alex and Sarah’s help. Can they solve the ghost’s mystery and get rid of Alex’s awful rash before it ruins everything?
I really enjoyed this one! Alex and his cousin Sarah are very relatable, very likable characters! Also, there are so many kids that are affected by allergies of some sort to some degree, so it’s nice to see a character these kids can relate to.
The story moved along at a nice pace. While reading, you get a good sense of all of the characters, and also the very cool little town that the story takes place in.
This story is full of humor, adventure, and wonderful lessons to reflect on! If you are a fan of the supernatural or a good mystery, give this story a try! I’m already itching for the second in the series, “Vampire Trouble” (Sept 12th, 2017).
This book doesn’t come out until June 27th, so keep an eye out for it!
