This book was so sweet! The whole time I was reading it, I could imagine giving it to a big brother or sister-to-be so they can read it with their new baby. The illustrations are bright and happy, and the text is age appropriate and fun. It even rhymes! Anyone who knows me knows rhyming is an instant plus.

I remember trying to find a book to give to my daughter, and then my son, to tell them they were going to be a big sister and brother. It’s harder to find a good one than you would think! I’m so happy I’ve found one more to add to my list!

While I was working at the bookstore, people would be very specific about the book they wanted for this particular gift. One of the things they would want is the proper gender of big sibling and baby. Not always, but often. For those who want to know, big sibling is a sister, and the baby appears to be a boy.

Either way, this is just a super cute book! Highly recommend.
