I can hardly believe that the large, dark-haired hulk of a man sitting next to me is my husband. I almost wonder if he has forgotten I exist. The Spring Feast of the Goddess is a night of revelry and rendezvous at the Alderwood estate. For Carina Yardley, it’s also the night of her wedding to the brooding young lord, Trevelyon Granville, and the start of her new life. The new bride of Alderwood Estate can’t make out her tall, enigmatic husband, or why he seems angry at her, until a few words during their wedding feast turn into a sensuous encounter that offers more than one resolution for the new Lady of Alderwood.Night is part of the Alderwood Wedding series and is the only book that doesn’t contain magic. Alderwood Wedding is a series of 3 short romances each featuring a different couple and told from the FMC’s point of view. They are interconnected but can be read alone. For readers 18+.

Riona Beck is magic. I’m sure of it. How else could someone make such a beautiful story with such 3 dimensional characters that leave such an impact in so few words. After I finished reading this one, I brought it back to the beginning and immediately reread the whole thing.
I’ve never read an arranged marriage story, and to be honest, I’ve never had the urge. Riona has single handedly changed my outlook. This story was so perfectly steamy and just the perfect length to keep you wanting more. Like a bite-sized spicy treat.
Five stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
